Congratulations — if you're reading this, hopefully you've just bought a new car. Whether it's a weekend toy or the family daily, we have protection packages to suit. And here's the uncomfortable truth about new cars: they don't arrive perfect. Between the factory, the ship, the compound and the dealer's pre-delivery wash, most new cars reach you with transport film residue, rail dust and a fresh set of swirl marks from a dealership wash bay.
So a 'new car protection package' applied at the dealership is very often sealing defects in on day one. We do it the other way around: decontaminate, correct the paint properly, then protect it. What you get is a car that genuinely looks better than it did on the showroom floor — and stays that way.

A light enhancement polish removes the dealership wash swirls and factory sanding marks. It's usually a single stage — but skipping it means locking those defects in.

Usually not at the price charged. The core problem is that dealer packages are typically applied over unprepared paint in a wash bay — which seals in transport contamination and wash swirls. The product may be fine; the preparation almost never is.
As soon as possible after delivery, ideally within the first few weeks. Book with us before collection and you can drive straight to Richmond from the dealership — that's the ideal scenario.
That's your call, but if you're planning independent protection, paying for both is money wasted. Many of our clients decline the dealer package and use the savings toward a properly prepared coating and PPF.
A prepared ceramic coating on a new car typically starts around $1,200. Adding a full front of Suntek PPF generally takes the package to $3,500–$6,000 depending on the vehicle. We quote on the specific car.
Factory paint is fully cured when it leaves the plant, so a new car can be coated immediately. Resprayed panels are different — fresh paint needs time to outgas, typically 30–90 days, before it can be coated or filmed.
They solve different problems. PPF stops stone chips on the impact areas; coating keeps the whole car cleaner, glossier and chemically protected. The common approach is PPF on the front end and a coating over everything, film included.
